The homepage names twenty-one disciplines inside V1 Sports Education. This document is the working curriculum behind that list — what each profession studies, who teaches it, and the career it terminates into. Read it as a prospectus, not a brochure.
Programmes range from short certificates to four-year degrees. Where the work below names term-by-term modules, the curriculum has been written in detail with industry faculty. Where it does not, the discipline is being scoped — its outline will appear in a later edition. Salary ranges follow the homepage list and reflect current Indian market observations across seniority and organisation type.
The most technically dense of the disciplines. Students learn every role in a live broadcast operation — from running a cable on the boundary to directing a hundred-camera world feed. The curriculum is built top-down: it begins with what a top-tier league or Olympic broadcast looks like on air, and works backwards to teach every component behind it. By Year 3, students are producing live college matches.

A full top-tier match broadcast involves more than two hundred crew across three locations: the stadium, the outside-broadcast van, and the studio. The Year 2 curriculum studies each role in turn — what they do, when they do it, and which equipment they own.

Executes the director's cuts on the production switcher in real time — hard cuts, dissolves, wipes — across a hundred-plus inputs from cameras, replay servers, graphics and studio feeds. Speed and precision are everything.
Operates the primary wide camera capturing the full field. Establishes the geography of play. Frames the field placement. Must hold a perfectly stable shot for hours.
Runs the miniaturised cameras embedded in the stumps and at pitch level. Also manages reference cameras for ball-tracking review systems.
Drives the camera suspended on cables above the field. Creates the dramatic overhead and flying shots. Coordinates with safety officers on every move.

The teaching is unusually practical: students pitch real sponsorship proposals to working brand managers, and run live social campaigns for the Ten Headz College Sports League.

The multidisciplinary foundation beneath every other performance discipline — exercise physiology, biomechanics, performance testing, environmental physiology, and the integration of all supporting sciences into a single high-performance system. Most state-level athletes train without any qualified conditioning coach — and it shows in injury rates, pace-bowling speeds and late-career breakdown. The most common career transition in sport — and the most poorly supported. India has thousands of former players coaching without any methodology training. The gap between great player and great coach is enormous; the two require different skills entirely. Two tracks: one for active players building credentials, one for retired players fast-tracking to a first coaching role.

India runs more than sixteen hundred domestic cricket matches per year and faces a critical shortage of trained umpires. An international panel umpire earns five to ten thousand US dollars per Test match. The Ten Headz pathway is unusual in one respect: students officiate real Ten Headz College Sports League matches from week one, paid per match.

Behind every player on the field is a support team of fifteen to thirty professionals making it possible. Kit managers, recovery therapists, video-analysis support, team liaison, ground curators, team chefs, security leads and media managers — every professional franchise carries the full complement, and an international tour multiplies it again. These are full careers, not temporary roles. The best support staff travel with the same team for ten to fifteen years.

A franchise carries twenty to thirty support staff for every fifteen-player squad. An international tour requires forty to fifty. The Year 1 curriculum studies each role in turn — what they own, where they sit, and how they interact across match day, training day and travel day.
Owns the entire equipment inventory of a professional squad — bats, pads, gloves, helmets, shoes, training gear and team apparel across formats. Packs and unpacks fifty kit bags at every venue, liaises with customs for international travel, and ensures every player has exactly what they need at the moment they need it. A kit failure on match day reflects directly on this role.
Delivers daily soft-tissue therapy, pre-match activation, post-match recovery and injury-prevention maintenance for a squad of fifteen to twenty-five players. Works under the team physiotherapist and is often the first person an athlete sees before and after every session and match. Recognised massage therapy qualification plus sport-specific recovery training.
The single point of contact between the squad and every external organisation — host boards, hotels, transport, media, security and local authorities. On international tour: visa logistics, airport protocols, hotel block management for forty-plus people, ground transport at each venue, and police coordination. The invisible operator without whom international tours descend into chaos.
Manages the video infrastructure for a professional team — capturing every session and match, tagging footage to the team's coding protocol, clipping requested sequences for coaches and players, and maintaining the season video library. Distinct from the lead analyst: this is the operator who ensures the coaching staff have the footage they need, in the format they need it, within minutes of a session ending.
Prepares and maintains the playing surface — one of the most specialised roles in the sport. Decisions made here directly affect match outcomes: how much grass to leave, how deep to roll, how hard to water, what the surface will do on Day One versus Day Four. Accredited through the national board's curator certification programme. Owns the outfield, drainage, covers, boundary management and the pitch square itself.
Designs and prepares performance meals for a squad of fifteen to thirty players across a full season and on tour. Combines dietetics knowledge with professional kitchen skills to deliver food that meets individual player nutrition prescriptions while remaining practical to prepare in hotel kitchens and remote venues. Manages dietary requirements across multicultural squads — vegetarian, Halal, Jain, cultural preferences — without compromising performance standards.
Manages the physical security of players, coaching staff and team assets across home and away environments. Conducts threat assessments for every venue on tour. Coordinates with local police, private security, hotel security and board security officers. Owns the protocol around high-profile player movement — airport, hotel and team-bus arrivals where crowd management is critical. Background in police, military or professional security combined with operational understanding of the sport.
Manages all media communications for the squad — press conferences, player availability, social channels and the relationship between the team and the press. Controls dressing-room access. Protects players from intrusive interactions. Drives narrative during high-pressure moments — losses, controversies, selection decisions — while balancing board obligations, franchise commercial requirements and player welfare.
Pre-performance routines, visualisation, pressure management, team cohesion, burnout prevention and retirement transition. The programme draws on an Olympic-affiliated consensus on athlete mental health, the clinical expertise of a partner psychology institute, and the elite-performance research of a sport-science university.

Premium sports hospitality is one of India's fastest-growing commercial segments. A premium match-day hospitality seat can command fifteen to forty thousand rupees; a corporate suite at a marquee event runs into several lakhs. Sports hospitality combines luxury hotel management, food-and-beverage excellence, event operations and sport — an intersection that traditional hospitality programmes do not address.

India manufactures cricket balls used in Test matches around the world. The sports-goods manufacturing industry — centred on Meerut, Jalandhar and emerging hubs — exports to more than a hundred countries, and the national export target for 2030 is significant. The pathway to it runs through product designers and manufacturing engineers who understand both the sport and the science of materials, aerodynamics and performance testing. Distinct from N° 14 Equipment Design, which sits in the studio rather than on the line.

From raw-material sourcing through R&D, design, prototype, production, quality control, testing, certification and export — each stage is a specialism. India already has the manufacturing base. It needs the trained professionals to take it to global scale.
Designs equipment that performs at elite level — bats, balls, footwear, protective gear, rackets and apparel. Combines deep knowledge of the sport (how a bat should feel at different willow weights, how a ball seam degrades over eighty overs) with materials science, ergonomics and manufacturing feasibility. Uses industry CAD tools, finite-element analysis and prototype testing to develop products that meet international performance standards and player preferences simultaneously.
Ensures every product manufactured meets the international standard required for professional play — ball specifications (weight, circumference, seam height, hardness), bat-size regulations, footwear safety and export-market certification. Runs incoming material inspection, in-process checks and finished-product testing against the relevant governing-body standards. The role decides whether a product can legally be used in international competition.
Investigates new materials and processes that improve product performance — composites for bat reinforcement, synthetic-leather formulations for balls that behave like traditional leather, advanced foam compounds for shock absorption in footwear. Tracks global sports-equipment R&D and applies relevant innovations to Indian manufacturing context and cost constraints.
Owns the complete export operation — buyer relationships, export documentation, customs compliance, certification for each target market, freight management and pricing strategy across export and domestic channels. Indian sports equipment faces different certification requirements in EU, US, Australian and Middle Eastern markets — the role navigates all of them.
Owns the day-to-day operation of a manufacturing facility — production scheduling, workforce management, machine maintenance, raw-material procurement coordination and output targets. In a cricket-ball factory: balances skilled hand-stitchers alongside automated processes, where output volume and craft quality both matter equally and a finished ball is graded by hand.
Manages the relationship between the manufacturer and the professional players who test and endorse products. Coordinates prototype-testing sessions, captures structured feedback on feel, performance and durability, and translates athlete language ("the bat feels dead at the bottom third") into actionable design briefs. Requires deep sport knowledge, interpersonal skill and the ability to translate between two very different professional worlds.
One of the highest-salary verticals in the industry — and India barely has any trained sports lawyers. Player contracts, broadcast-rights deals, anti-doping proceedings, match-fixing prosecutions and arbitration all require specialist training. The programme runs through a Court of Arbitration for Sport-affiliated programme, in collaboration with a recognised national law school.

Most state-level athletes in India still eat without any professional guidance. India's sports-supplement market is growing at over twenty per cent a year and is projected to cross ₹15,000 crore inside five years. The category remains poorly regulated, frequently contaminated and largely served by imported products. Athletes — from recreational gym users to national-team players — are buying products formulated without adequate science, manufactured without proper quality control, and sold without the certification that protects them from inadvertent doping violations. That is the opportunity. A genuinely science-backed, properly certified Indian sports-supplement brand is one of the most significant business openings in the sector. The programme trains the formulation scientists, manufacturing chemists, regulatory specialists and retail and digital operators who build and run that kind of business — with FSSAI, NADA and WADA compliance built in from day one.

Designs the actual formula — choosing specific ingredients, their forms (creatine monohydrate vs. HCl, whey concentrate vs. isolate vs. hydrolysate), their dosages based on clinical evidence, and their combinations for efficacy, palatability and stability. Must understand the science behind every ingredient claim, the evidence required to substantiate it under Indian and international advertising standards, and how the formula will behave through manufacturing, storage and consumption.
Navigates India's supplement-regulatory landscape — FSSAI health-supplement regulations, nutraceutical licensing, label-claim compliance, ingredient-import restrictions, and the interface between FSSAI and NADA when products are used by competitive athletes. Prepares regulatory submissions, manages license renewals, and monitors the regulatory changes that affect the product portfolio. The role decides whether a product can legally be sold in India.
The most critical role in a brand serving competitive athletes — ensuring every product is manufactured to a standard that eliminates the risk of inadvertent doping violations. Manages third-party batch testing through internationally accredited laboratories, maintains the compliance documentation athletes and their agents demand before use, and advises on contamination risk in raw-material supply chains. A genuine doping violation caused by a supplement costs an athlete their career; this role prevents it.
Operates the quality-control laboratory inside a GMP-certified manufacturing facility — testing incoming raw materials for identity, purity and potency, conducting in-process checks at each manufacturing stage, and performing final-product release testing against specification. Ensures what is in the bottle matches what is on the label — a legal requirement under FSSAI and a moral obligation to the athletes who depend on the product being exactly what it claims.
The front-line professional who advises athletes, gym users and sports teams on supplement selection, dosing, timing and safety. Currently almost non-existent in India as a trained profession — most retail staff have no formal qualification. A trained advisor understands the evidence base for each ingredient category, the WADA compliance considerations for competitive athletes, and the FSSAI rules that govern what can and cannot be claimed about each product.
Builds and runs the digital commerce operation — direct-to-consumer site, marketplace listings, paid digital advertising, social media, influencer partnerships, subscription model and retention. India's supplement market is heavily digital-first. The brand manager who understands both the nutrition science behind the products and the digital-commerce mechanics of reaching the Indian sports consumer is the rarest, most valuable combination in the category.
Adjacent to marketing at N° 02, but distinct in its craft: identity systems for franchises, the visual and verbal language of a sporting property, athlete personal brands, and the design discipline behind a stadium experience. The teaching draws on practising brand designers and franchise creative directors.

Player representation, contract negotiation, career planning, endorsement management, image rights and retirement transition — the agent is the athlete's most important business partner, and India has almost no formal sports-agent education. The programme combines a leading sports-management institution's faculty, mock auction simulations, and arbitration training for dispute resolution.
